Hello! Me again!
I'm looking for a way to dynamically sort the dimensions in a pivot table. Our user wants to push a button and have the pivot table auto-magically move the product style to the first dimension in the pivot table.
I'm using a button, but I don't think the action list will accomplish this. Is there a way to see 'if button A is pressed' resort Dimensions in X pivot table? i.e. I hope you can see this picture. If they press this button, sort so that the Style Dimension is now first.
Qlik Sense solutions only please.
Hey Critcher!
I don't know if it's possible, but I recomend use the Climber Report extension.
It's simple to use and you can do what you want for this case.
I have nothing against extensions, but I try not to use them if I can find another solution. Upgrades break them at times. Thanks!
Hi Critcher,
this might be late but i had the same topic today and found a solution:
1. sort the Pivot table as you want it
2. creat a bookmark and click the checkbox "save layout" and uncheck the save Sheet box.
3. creat a Button that first uses the bookmark and then go one selection backwards.
this takes some performance because of the fast selections but it works for me.
