Qlik Sense 3.1 SR3 alway corrupt my file

Hi All

I recently upgrade to SR3 , i start to encounter the above issue.

Some time it refuse to let me save the file.

Some time it reload file never ending. if i close the file next i cannot open.

Some time i rename file at folder , it also can corrupt the file.

This issue i thing it is due to SR3 now take longer time to process the file.

Does all you also enclounter similar issue ?

Hi Paul,

My QVF is local.

I remember the last time my App crashed, the script and sheet editor were open in different tabs.

I usually have the sheet editor and the script editor open in separate tabs to allow a fast switch between them. Sometimes I switch back to the sheet editor before the script ends.

Maybe this usage pattern could lead to this error.

Hi Sir

Mine I go to App folder do the rename of the file name while I go a reload of script , this cause the system Hung and my file currupted.

Hi,

Does anyone know why this is happening? I've experienced 2 app corruptions since upgrading 3 weeks ago,(one just now).  The corrupted QVFs open again randomly, sometimes after restarting PC - the issue seems to resolve - on occasion), however on every reload SR3 is hanging, dashboards becoming unresponsive. I've just lost an app, luckily saved my script in notepad++, but have lost 9 dashboards worth of work, can anyone from Qlik help resolve this?

Just realised, issue has been addressed by SR4 release

Try install SR4.

Not applicable

Have SR4 installed since this morning and haven't encountered any issues since.

Fingers crossed...
