Well, this never happened before. I was just previewing my dashboard and all of a sudden (while the dashboard was loading) the Qlik Sense Desktop window disappeared! No errors, no warnings, nothing.
I'm using version April 2020 patch 1 (13.72.4) and Vizlib with KPI Designer 1.8.0.
In the System_Engine log I found these lines that may be applicable:

The Windows Event Viewer came up with the following:
Faulting application name: QlikSenseBrowser.exe, version: 8.0.2.0, time stamp: 0x5e393abf
Faulting module name: Qt5Core.dll, version: 5.7.0.0, time stamp: 0x575a690a
Exception code: 0xc0000005
I should probably also mention that it is connected to Qlik Sense Hub within my organisation.
My latest changes weren't saved but luckily I click that 'Save' button quite often.. whew! 😅 Hereby a quick feature request: auto save please!
I forgot updating how I solved this. The culprit was an extension called QlikSense-Sheet-Styler-Lite-master, which was invisibly embedded in one of my sheets. I'm probably the one to blame as I didn't check for updates to the extension. I didn't have any need for it any longer so I just removed it an no more crashes since! 🙂
