Qlik Sense Javascript tutorials

Hello all,

I have a question regarding QS and Javascript, so I was hoping you can help me with that.

Do you know what is the best route to learn javascript in order to be  competent to create components/extensions etc. in QS?

Is all javascript knowledge needed for this kind of work, or are just some fundamentals needed?

Are there any resources available for this kind of thing?

Thanks

To create extensions and other components, in addition to JS, you will need some basic HTML & CSS skills as well.

If your goal is to learn enough JS/HTML/CSS to create Qlik extensions and mashups, I think an excellent learning path is https://websy.academy/. There are introductory courses on JS/HTML/CSS that focus on the specifics you will need to code Extensions and Mashups. as well as using the Qlik APIs.

For general learning of JS/HTML/CSS, there are a number of good online learning sites such as:

Hi @rwunderlich Can you mention some free source that you know of, to learn enough JS/HTML/CSS to create Qlik extensions and mashups.  https://websy.academy/ seems good but is paid!

Those previously mentioned sites are still good. for general learning. The qlik help has an introduction to creating mashups. https://help.qlik.com/en-US/sense-developer/August2023/Subsystems/Mashups/Content/Sense_Mashups/mash...

If you are serious about creating extensions, I think the focused content in websy.academy is worth the investment.
