Hi there,
I have been trying to find out a way to use any background or font color in a pivot table. However, I'd like to use it inside the part of dimensios. For instance, I have my dimensions column and inside it 3 different levels so what I'd like to do is to setup up a different color (background or font one) to each of the level parts of the dimensions. Is it possible to do so in QlikSense?
I atttach a photo to clarify more the issue in case of doubt.
Thanks so much for your help!!!!
Regards,
Ainhoa
hi Ainhao,
Conditional colouring cannot be set for the dimensions as of now as Undergrinder mentioned. Its only possible with the measures. But you will have to go with an extension to achieve it.
Thanks,
Sangram.
I've had a look to your link but in my case I feel it is not useful as what I tend to do is assign a font to a particular field (as said below, different levels within a same dimension).
For example:
I have a dimension which is "brands" in a pivot table. And within brands I have coke, Pepsi, whatever and what I'd like to do is to set up a different color to each of them independently of profit and other values in the table. E.g coke= red (color), Pepsi= blue...and so on and so forth.
Hi Ainhoa,
As far as I know you can set color only to measurements.

Thanks both for your help. I thought last versions of QlikSense could have implemented that feature.
Hopefully we will have it in the next version.

Thanks for your help. And as you said before I would have to go with an extension to achieve so. Do you know any that could help me meanwhile?
Hi Ainhao,
Check the Qlik Branch for extesnsions. Let me know if you need any help in building one.
Thanks,

Hi Sangram,
That's also really blocking for me. I'm used to make some pnl with a pivot table but, as mentioned, I cannot make the column coloured. I found the PnlSmart extension but it's working like a straight table, not pivot.
Do you think I have to create an extension (but I'm not technical) or wait for the next version of Sense?
Thx
