QlikSense Apps and Licensing

Hi folks,

I have a couple questions regarding QlikSense:

1. Can we publish/deploy QlikSense apps to a QlikView server? It seems like if you want to get QlikView desktop and QlikSense desktop, you need to have both QlikView and QlikSense servers so does that mean you cannot publish QlikSense apps to a QlikView server?
2. I know that you can buy QlikView desktop licenses, is this the same for QlikSense?

1. No. Qlik Sense is a different platform. You can deploy Qlik Sense apps on a Qlik Sense Server.

2. No, Qlik Sense Desktop does not require a license. You get the full functionality for free. However, if you want to use Qlik Sense Server then you do need to buy licenses.
