QlikView created QVD used in QlikSense?

Can I use a QVD that has been created in QlikView as a data source for a QlikSense dashboard?

Yes you can

I did that a few times before & during our QlikView -> Qlik Sense migration and it worked fine, although there was a performance issue with very early Qlik Sense versions but that was sorted by Qlik a few years ago.
