Root Admin privileges in QMC

I am a RootAdmin. Do I have access to all the streams in HUB? I can view in hub only the 2 default streams and the apps present in it.

But there are few other streams and apps inside it. I have checked in QMC that i have read, publish access to all the streams but i can not view those streams in the hub.

Sudha,

Verify that your RootAdmin role is correct.  It should look like this:

Also, you may want to verify that a rule was not placed on the stream that implicitly denies access.  Notice that this rule is only valid in the QMC!  This Root Admin role is only valid in the QMC.  You need to validate that you have access to the streams in question with a rule where the context is 'Only in HUB' or 'both in hub and QMC'.

The root admin role gives you access to everything.

If you have any doubt, lookup the rule that defines the root admin. You will see that it is define as *

This is what I can see in my hub. I do have access for other streams in QMC. Why can't I see those streams in HUB?

Hi Sudha, probably it's because you haven't assigned your root admin user to every single stream that you might have on the QMC.

Hope it helps,

I thought the root admin role has access to every Stream by default?

Indeed, but what I meant was for streams that haven't been created by the same root admin for example.

Hi

I am logged in using Rootadmin user but unable to duplicate the apps from stream directly.
I am able to duplicate app from QMC.

Also I have checked its security rule is set up as same as given in above discussion.
