I have one client who is using Qlik Sense Nov 17. There are data analyst to create Apps for the departments. These users don't have access to data model but just front end visualization. However, data analyst are hungry hippo and have created endless number of sheets in community areas. Some are using some extension objects to load whole tables in the apps. In my understanding, when you load one table in qlik sense, it caches the table for this session. So if 10 or more analyst open 10 or more tables at a time, these are 100 tables in one hour which i believe lot of data in one time.
My question is what are the best practice regarding users to develop their own apps with high data volume. 1) Should they have access to qvds are use 3rd party tool to analyse data 2) A custom role so they can see at least data model but able to access code editor 3) any retention policy regarding community sheets.
