Some one send me a QVF file with QSVariable extension , it work fine in my note , does it mean that the extension is okay ?

HI All

may I know if i don't have have right QSVariable extension file install on my note book, the working file send to me will not work right ? Or the QVF file is already embedded into QVF file , so even I have old extension it will still work ? Hope some one can share with me which is which ?

Paul,

You must have your extension installed on the system you are opening your QVF on. It might not be the latest version of the extension, but I would recommend always use the up-to-date version anyway.

Your app simply will not work properly if the QSVariable extension is not properly installed.

Thank you for take time reply to my question.

Just about 1 hr ago Bill help me spot the issue.

It is due to I never create the Var = sEG at qlik Sense load script , that is why unable to work.

Now work fine.
