Sort the month based on the customer selection

Hi All,

I am trying to sort the month in the bar chart. The condition for sorting is as below.

If the selection is made on Apr 2018, the graph should show May 2017, June 2017, .. Apr 2018.

Can anyone help me with the logic please? Thank you.

Hi,

you mean you want an ascending sorting on Month-Year, from the first Month-Year to the last Month-Year ?

Also, there is different type of sorting depending on the selection made on the field Month-Year ?

Yes, I want to show it based on the selection in the filters. Also I am not displaying the Year in the graph. Only month is displayed.

Do you have a calendar on your model ? do you have a field Date ?

Yeah i have a Date field, Month and Year derived from the Date field

go on the sorting tab, uncheck everything and check expression on the month_year field and put this on ascending:

=Max(Date)
