Unable to allow a "Duplicate" option

I have an application published to the stream and it's accessible by a specific user. I would like to give this user an option to Duplicate this app into his own workspace so it will allow him to do some modifications without disturbing the published app.

As of now, the app is visible, but no "Duplicate" option is available when user does the "Right Click" on the app's icon...

I could not find the Rule that needs to be updated to give this option to the user.

P.S. This user is set as a "ContentAdmin" on the system.

Looking  forward for suggestions/direction.

Regards,

Vladimir

Ok thanks.

I did spend a couple of very long nights digging through the options, trying to find some combination of security rules settings that worked, but no luck. Let's wait for 2.2 then.

I have 2.2 and this does not seem to work in 2.2 either.

Doesn't seem to work in 2.2 either.  One option might be to give "Change Owner" to both Developers.  They can change the owner back and forth on objects and then duplicate them.  But what a pain!

For what it's worth, this probably wasn't an issue after all, but rather an effect of the default security rules that ship with Sense.

We have refined the security rules to meet our needs (accomplishing things like setting up people to be admins within specific streams), and when I revisited the issue described in this thread, I realised it wasn't an issue any more. Works like a charm - just as the way it should.

To solve the original problem of this thread, you would have to make both users admins of the stream in which the app has been published. But if that has been done, duplicating works without a hitch.

I have three Root Admins set on my server and none of these people can duplicate the app outside the QMC.

The "Duplicate" option is simply not available on the Hub for the person who did not created this app...

Unless I am missing something, this issue is still exists.

Can you provide an example of how you obtained this?

Yes, still the case in 3.2 (SR1).

Only Delete option is available in the Hub:

I am going to upgrade to SR3 soon, so will see if it will change anything...

I opened a ticket and i was told that in 3.2 it should be possible. With security rules! BUT qlik is not allowed to tell us how to implement this

I have 3.2 SR 2

It would be nice to see an example
