qlik sense exporting pivot table to excel file with look & feel

Hello,

We are trying to export pivot table to excel preserving layout and format (ex. color settings).

We'd like to create an extension for this because the default export only do an export data.

We also tried to use data export API but this only exports data.

We don't know how to get the measure color property of pivot table.

Someone can help us and guide us to the right direction ?

Many thanks in advance for your time.

Best regards

Andrea

Hi Andrea,

Your best bet for this may be to get NPrinting 17.2 and use this to pull the data into Excel.

Hi Steve,

Could you explain deeper how the end user can do it with NPrinting ?

Is available something as on demand feature ?

Please let me know.

Hi Andrea,

I've not yet tried pulling a Pivot Table into Sense, so I'm not sure how it will render.  I would certainly look into whether the look of what it provides will meet you needs before exploring further.

I've also not used the On Demand feature against Sense yet.  With QlikView though you have a button embedded into the QlikView app which then causes the NPrinting report to be created in the background (with the current selections) on being clicked.

Again, you would need to look into what is available with regards to On Demand in Sense.

Sorry I can't give any more details at this time.

You can do this and much more, using LogiExport extension for QlikSense
