Here is my problem.
I have an application where multiple dimension table are present such as.
Product, Organisation, Customer, and fact table.
Requirement is to create a measure, and that measure will be aggregated based on only Organization and Product.
So i have created so far like below
Its giving be the correct result while i have a table with product field with measure.
Problem arise while i am adding any customer field its giving me incorrect numbers / %. Please note i can't aggregate on customer level.
but while i select only one customer in filter its giving me correct number.
Please help !! can we handle this in some way? !
why dont you just use sum(Factvalue) if you want it to see on more detailed level (Customer field). Or you can use a Pivot Table and use partial sums.
May be try this
Sum(TOTAL <Org_ID, ProductID> FactValue)
This is basically business requirements. User wants to see some kpis value based on that aggrigation.
I hope u can understand.
Let me check that then I will get back to you. This is huge application so need some time.
I have tried this. Its not working!
Would you be able to share a sample?
Preparing examples for Upload - Reduction and Data Scrambling
Uploading a Sample
This is client restricted so i will not be able to give you the exact sample.
But i will try to create a sample in free cloud version and share with you in some day!
I am attaching the app.
In Below screenshot you can see for customer name as NIKHIL the SFA value is 0.2136 then when we filter NIKHIL then SFA value changes to 0.73.
Please refer the attached app and give your valuable comment how can we fix the value. For your information 0.73 is correct value.
