Duplicating an app does not copy the REST connectors with it?

Hi,

I'm duplicating some apps to publish to different streams in QSCB, but i noticed that the REST Data connectors do not get copied over from the original app.

Has anyone faced such an issue, and is there a solution for it?

Thanks

Connector is constructed to be defined uniquely for each app, The ability to centralize and re-use connections in QSE is related to a central administration concept where connections are secured and managed in QMC.  In QSCB, Qlik attempting to democratize administration and empower users to self-serve more easily.

Check this:

May be, of the Security rules and read rights script only created.

Check this too:

Check your access rights on the app in qmc.

Re: Duplicating an app does not copy the REST connectors with it?

Thanks Bala, i did read this earlier but honestly it wasn't very helpful.

I am the owner of the site and have all the access rights; however when duplicating all i get is the diagrams but not the REST Connectors associated with the app, which is very frustrating because recreating the REST connectors with all the custom fields is quite hectic, not to mention i have 17 apps to do this for

Any further advice on how to make this possible?

Re: Duplicating an app does not copy the REST connectors with it?

Thank you Bala for your efforts to help me understand this better.

I am now considering the Server solution, if the pricing is right and can support the above then would probably move to that option.

Unfortunately, although the QSCB is perfect, this duplication function with keeping connectors intact is truly critical and will cause a true inconvenience going forward.
