Invalid URI

Hi all!

I am trying to create a Microsoft SQL Server connection in Qlik Cloud, but the test connection has failed. I have this connection in Qlik Sense Desktop and it works fine.

Please, can you tell me where the problem is?

Thank you!

Re: Invalid URI

I think it expects a fully qualified domain name. I doubt QlikCloud knows where your SQL Server lives. SRVCB25 may work fine within the network of your organisation, but I'm pretty sure that the server can't be found with only that name from the internet, where QlikCloud lives.

Re: Invalid URI

Thanks for your answer,

I replaced the name server by the IP server but now I get this error:dm_Enlace_Resumen.png

Also I found the information below:

Connecting to data sources from a private network
To request data from your data connections through a firewall, you need to add the DNS name for Qlik Cloud and the underlying IP addresses to your whitelist.
Data connection requests are made to DNS name: qlikcloud.com.

Do you know if that information is pretty necessary?

Re: Invalid URI

Try change the port number from 1433 to 3306

Re: Invalid URI

Have you tried with these?

Server: SRVCB25

Port: 3306

Database: temporal

User Name: qlink (is that right? qlink, with "n"?)

Password: *************** (here it is a common problem: password too complex. Are you able to change your password to another and simple one ?)

Cheers

Re: Invalid URI

Yes, User Name is qlink because the database admin doesn't like qlik (hahaha).
Well, I'm going to suggest to change the password, but I think that is not possible.

Regards.
