Looking for a suggestion: how to chart data: date, count and max value

I come for a suggestion what should be the best way to chart my data.

I have a table containing a Contract Number, the Activation date and the revision number.

Might look like here:

Contract#Activation DateRevision
AAAA.110/Jan/163
AAAA.210/Dec/172
BBBB.11/Oct/1611
BBBB.45/Apr/184
BBBB.45/May/185

And so on...

So a Contract Family might have multiple reviews, always adding 1 to the previous. In the table I have all revisions from 1 to the latest one, all (might) have a different Activation date.

I'd like to know how to best see, in a Timeline way, the n. of Contract(s) activated in that date and the highest Revision N. for that (and maybe the Activation date of that latest one)

Any good idea out there?

thanks!

M

Hi,

have two 2 options to help you here:

1: take a look at this: http://extremepresentation.typepad.com/files/choosing-a-good-chart-09.pdf

2: try to play with Qliksense (Qliksense cloud), Qlik implemented an AI engine that help you choose the right chart depending on the Measure(s) and dimension(s) you choose.
