New Node shows never contacted

Hi Team,

I am trying to do a multi node setup for qliksense, where

a. is my central node.

b. is my node for scheduling or reloading tasks.

I have followed the instructions which have been given i help website.

After configuring the scheduler node on the central node, I applied password successfully on the scheduler node.

and i restarted the services in the scheduler node.

But when i went back and saw scheduler node in NODES section (In Central Node) it says Status unknown Never contacted.

Can any body pls help me with this.

Hi Team,

I realized that rim node was not able to ping the central node using host name.

I made sure that both the server's are able to ping each other using their host names,, and after fixing this i did multi node setup again... and it worked..:-)

Hi Team,
