QLIK SENSE SCRIPTING - DATA LOAD EDITOR

Good day,

I'm new to the world of scripting, Would be grateful if someone would guide me in the correct direction !!

Do I need to learn SQL to understand how this works? What resources could you recommend?

Is the QLIK SCRIPT a unique language?

Any help would be appreciated !!

Hi,

Qlik Script is very similar to SQL language so Yes it helps a lot to know SQL.

If you don't need to do complex data transformations you shall be ok!

My advice is to follow this official tutorial!

Also have a look in so data literacy from Qlik so many topics great to get into all the Qlik World.

If you are aware of "SQL Joins" - Fair enough to develop POC dashboard.

But, Scripting is static for Qlikview/Qliksense because, Script never changed.

Before develop something, think If placed (The Right information | To the right people | At the Right time | In the Right place | With the Right context)
