Qlik Sense Cloud database (Snowflake) connections

As I understand correctly, I can connect to virtually any database in Qlik Sense, via an ODBC connection. In Qlik Sense Cloud, only connections to Redshift and SQL Server are possible, by means of  preconfigured ODBC database connectors. Will, in the near future, connections to other databases be possible too? As I would like to connect a Snowflake database to Qlik Sense Cloud.

Re: Qlik Sense Cloud database (Snowflake) connections

Hi Grovert, Until an ODBC connector for Snowflake becomes available in the Qlik Sense Cloud, my suggestion would be to use an ETL tool that can create the QVX files with that data you want for rapid loads into your Qlik Sense Cloud apps (i.e.,  Alteryx or Informatica come to mind, but I'm sure there are others).  Hope that helps provide an option or inspires another thought or two on how to use Snowflake with your Qlik Sense Cloud apps.

Kind Regards,

Now you can connect Qlik Sense and QlikView to Snowflake using Snowflake ODBC Connector.
