Oracle DB Connection Multiple Node

Hi all,

I have to create a new connection to Oracle DB.

My DB has multiple host and one service name. How can I configure it into Connection into Qlik Sense?

Thank you,

Riccardo

Re: Oracle DB Connection Multiple Node

Oracle recommend that you use OLEDB. But Oracle also have and ODBC client often installed together with the OLEDB installation in a single installation package.

Oracle should be able to resolve that with the their client software. Are you using either Oracle ODBC or OLEDB client?

Re: Oracle DB Connection Multiple Node

with OLE DB I can use my tnsnames client, that inside it is written the connection string.

Re: Oracle DB Connection Multiple Node

An alternative could be to use the Qlik ODBC Connector Pack where you can find a sub-connector for Oracle. It is often much speedier than Oracle's own driver. It is much simpler to setup and connect with.
