I'm creating an app to track our daily production and we are planning on having someone input the daily production goal each morning. I was hoping to have them enter in a spreadsheet, save the spreadsheet, then it updates in Qlik during the normal update schedule for this app. I've seen a lot of articles about attaching a file, but that seems like it's static data. Is there a way to create a connection to a spreadsheet like this? Or is there another solution?
No Completely clear on your requirement but from what i understood it seems like you need to create a connection to a folder (which would be a network drive or s3 or similar) and put the excel file there.
the user would update the excel on that shared location
hi @dilipranjith , using this method will Qlik Sense automatically update once changes have been saved in the network folder, or will someone have to attach and load the updated file to Qlik?
