Using regex on load script

Hi,

I’d like to preprocess data from a log, filtering some trash using regular expressions.

So, I could convert:

Error parsing document “http://10.255...”: header not found => Error parsing document: header not found

ERROR YY1234, bad result “<…>” => Invalid KML

Is it possible to use REGEX substitutions on load script?
