Hi guys,
I have setup a 2 nodes Qlik Sense Server , with Shared Persistence configuration.
On the Central Node, of course, need to check all services. But I want to know, rim node, does it needs proxy service as well?
Can you tell me the difference if i check Proxy service in the rim node? and if i UNCHECK the proxy service in the rim node?
I have also configured both servers with F5 load balancer. Meaning when a user access www.qliksense.com, the traffic will either route it to server 1(central node) or server 2(rim node).
Pls share ur advise or experience
Rgds

Dear Vicenzo,
Wow... Can you explain what is the "Sticky Session" you mean? and i would like to share with you my current qmc setting.. I am not sure about the setting, since its using F5 Load Balancer.
1) do i need to removed central and rim node at the QMC > Virtual Proxy > Central Virtual Proxy > In the Load Balancer? because i have f5 load balancer
2) In the QMC> Nodes > Rim Nodes, for server activation: Do I need to check PROXY as well?

Hi Jim, here the definition http://wiki.metawerx.net/wiki/StickySessions
If you google “How to enable sticky session on F5” you’ll found several useful results. Maybe your F5 team can be the best resurse to pick up the right suggestions
Hope this help
i have checked with the F5 team. they have enabled Sticky Session. they have configured 2 nodes in the F5 too.
So , i added the 2 nodes IP address into the websocket whitelist.
result: I am able to route to node 2/server 2 after added the 2 nodes server IP into the whitelist. But after 10mins, i have tried to re-login again, it turned to a BLANK page.
i dont understand why its still can see a blank page.
