Are Qlik Sense sheets cached once they are opened by users?

Hi all,

Are Qlik Sense sheets cached once they are opened?

Let's say the app is loaded on a server for the first time, services etc are restarted so there is nothing on the RAM.

When a user opens the app and some sheets for the first time, it may take some time.

Are the sheets cached once they are opened? Should the loading of sheets be faster next time it is accessed?

Please shed some light on this topic.

The sheets aren't cached but the underlying hypercubes called by the visualization objects are.

Hi Levi,

Do I understand this correctly that even if no selections are made, the hypercubes are still cached once the sheet is opened? This is because no selections means everything is selected.

No selections means that they can see all the rows that they are authorized to see. Without section access, this means all rows. With section access, there may be reduction there.

Hi Levi,

Yes so let's say there is no section access > the user accesses a sheet > all the visualizations present data, are these hypercubes cached even when no selections are made?
