Cannot connect to QMC after upgrade to November 2017 release

Hi there,

Upgraded to the November 2017 release without any errors. However, when I launch the QMC (on the host server and through Chrome) I get a "Site cannot be reached" message. I have attached various logs below.

Something to note - in the Service Repository log, I see the following msg:

ResultText=Error: Failed trying to create path: \\Users\QSAdmin\Downloads\Backup

Not sure if this is causing the problem, but it seems that I have accidentally typed the wrong path during the upgrade. If this is the issue, is there a way to change that path?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

-Alexis

That's the issue.

  • Setup a valid UNC Share which is given full control to the Qlik Sense Service account
  • Edit C:\ProgramData\Qlik\Sense\Installation\InitialServiceCluster.xml to point to that valid UNC Share
  • Restart the Repository Service

(also review the rest of the video, you will need to move some content like apps, etc lest the site be non-functional still)

Hi Alexis,

I see the below error in the log of the repository Command=Start repository;Result=-2146233088;ResultText=Error: Failed trying to create path:

please take a look to the below document

Certificates are not correctly installed

And if that doesn't work please check the next post https://qlikcommunity.qliktech.com/thread/286907
