Memory usage is constantly at 100% utilization

Hi,

Although we have no load on the server, the main memory usage is constantly at 100% utilization.

Only a restart of the machine helps! (but only for a few hours)
We have Qlik Sense Version Nov. 2018 (including the latest patches).
I urgently need some tips on how we can get this under control.

Thank you
best regards
Christoph

Many Many Thx!

The Problem was the "Ballooning" on the VM System. So no Qlik topic!

Can you provide more details ?
like when it is happening after opening dashboard?
How many concurrent user login on server? Share screen shot of task manager?

One or a combination of the following;
too much data, too many users, not enough memory

Either decrease data or users or increase memory.

Is memory usage growing constantly after the restart, or are you seeing sudden spikes? If the latter, then this might be pointed out to some specific action.

Dear Chris,

Are there any active Tasks when you observe the behavior that you mentioned before?

Thanks,

Yes, this is working as designed:

The Qlik Engine needs to have memory statically assigned to perform properly.
