Alexander -

I have not heard of any issue with getting historical data in the 2.2.4 version of the Monitoring apps.

What is the 'old data'?

How old is it?

What data is contained in the old data that is missing in the 2.2.4 version? (not just dates, but actual content - like sessions or reloads?)

Thanks!

I would remove the 2.2.0 QVDs and try a reload. There is no reason you should be missing historical data (2.0 and above) in the 2.2.4 monitor apps.

Make sure, though, that the Archived Logs folder is in place, with the historical logs.  If that has been removed or moved to a different location - you will not see the history.

Also, if you are now running multi-node and the apps are reloading on a RIM node, you might miss the historical data.

Let me know.

if I deleted the archived logs no opportunity to obtain information from the old QVD files?

if so then in fact, you can simply remove the old QVD files and new applications create their QVD files from the archive logs

If you deleted the archived logs then the history is gone. There is no supported way to pull the data from the prior version of the monitor apps QVDs. (Though you can try. The easiest way to try would be to make a copy of the 'old' 2.0 QVDs and rename them to '2.2.0'.)

If you remove all the QVDs from the Qlik\Sense\Log folder, then when you next reload the 2.2.4 version of the Monitor Apps, the apps will create new QVDs based on the logs that exist in Qlik\Sense\Log and Qlik\Sense\Repository\Archived Logs\ folders.
