Port forwarding in Qlik Sense

Hi,

We wanted to give external access to Qlik Sense Server so that IT team has managed to setup a hostname and port (www.company.com:7545) forwarding all its incoming traffic to the internal Qlik Sense Server (123.123.23.13:443).

But it is basically not working. It gives a time out error after a while.

Is it something we need to do with certificates or Qmc proxy settings or are there any other additional requirements?

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Re: Port forwarding in Qlik Sense

use a sniffer to be convinced that the traffic comes to your Sense server.

to avoid issues with https to get started, try to switch the proxy mode http

maybe for work with https your need add www.company.com to Websocket origin white list in the Proxy - Vitrual proxy - advanced settings
