Qlik Sense Desktop - Data connections: The connector is not responding

Hi,

After updating from Qlik Sense Desktop September 2017 Edition to Qlik Sense Desktop February 2018 Patch 1

I received the following error when opening the scripting editor:

An error occured

The connection is not responding. Contact your system administrator.

When i open the Qlik Sense Desktop Hub in Google Chrome and switch the Developer Console on i see the following:

Failed to load connector: QvWebStorageProviderConnectorPackage

I did an uninstall and reinstall of Qlik Sense Desktop, but this didn't work out.

Any ideas about this?

thanks for your help, but

no, unfortunately it didn't work out.

Problem might be, that i'm not local admin.

So the problem still exists.

I did a uninstall of Qlik Sense Desktop February 2018 Edition and switch back to Qlik Sense Desktop September 2017 Edition - here at least the Qlik Installation is working (using Qlik ODBC Drivers).

Hmm... have you tried to raise a ticket to Qlik Support?

Looks strange to me, that you updated (if I understood correctly) from Sept 2017 to Feb 2018 and it stopped working... suddenly...

Andrei, update:

I updated to April 2018 Edition and all problems were solved - at least for the last 3 months.

Now, 3 months later i updated to June 2018 Edition - same Problems: Connectors are not working, the wheel keeps spinning and i see the same message as shown in my original post.

De-installation and clean reinstall of Qlik Sense June 2018 did not work out.

Was somebody able to make Qlik Sense Desktop June 2018 running in an Company environment using company proxy and firewall ?
