Hi all,
I am facing an issue with Qlik Sense Desktop (v 2.0.1), which is unable to creat a new app.
It goes like this:
I checked, and there is no .qvf file in the folder in My Documents.
Anybody has faced this as well? Any idea?

Hi Jerome,
This sounds like some sort of security issue.
Are you able to confirm that Sense was installed using an administrator account and that local firewall settings have been configured. If you have Windows firewall turned on you should be prompted the first time you use Sense to approve Sense to work.
For reference, the firewall rule allows open access for the following file on the local machine:
c:\users\<username>\appdata\local\programs\qlik\sense\qliksense.exe

Thanks for your reply. Yes I can confirm that I used my local admin account to install Sense, and I have tried opening ports, and even turning the firewall off, still not working.
Visibly the upgrade from v1 to v2 has broken something...
stupid question, the user has write access to the folder?
