Qlik Sense - Map Service on the Single Node architecture

Hi Guys,

Need small clarification.

I hope you all can see the above pasted image.

if you look at the above picture i can understand central node and user web browser and inbound & Outbound ports.

I cannot able to why they have mentioned map service separately.

when it comes networking architecture side:how to configure map service? is it a separate server? why  do we need map service separately when we have all qlik services installed on the Central Node?

kindly requesting someone to clarify

This is possibly considering your deployment is on-premise and not open to internet. And without internet, if you need maps to work, you might have to install a map server in-house.
