Qlik Sense export/import without Data QMC clears states

Hi,

I found that exporting an app from QMC and de-selecting 'Export app with data' removed the states as well within the app. Is this new to Nov 2018, or was it always like that and I never noticed? I normally would open the app without data, make a slight change (like //) and save. This retains the states.

When you mean "the state" I am assuming the selections state? Yes? well as you have mention you "de-selecting 'Export app with data', so there is not data that can select, so I would assume it will remove those states as expected behavior.
