Qlik Sense server installation - error when installing logging database

Hi,

I tried to deploy Qlik Sense server on a cloud server. (I already done it 4 times before for several customers, and it worked each time).

But for this one, each time I install it, it rolls back.

When I go through the installation logs, I can see that it's the logging database installation that's causing the error.

It is a Windows Server 2019.

I had the problem with Qlik Sense server April & June 2019.

I managed to do the deployment without installing the logging database, but it still bothers me.

Attached, you'll find all the logs from one of the many tries I did.

For any chance the QLogReader or QLogWriter password have any special characters? If they do remove them and try again, if that still fails, then skip the Centralize logging installation and then once QS install, follow this KB to enable Centralize logging again:

Hi Giuseppe,

In fact it was the first guest I had (some generated password went with a << ' >> and other caracters, so I deleted them. But the installation still fails.

I thought about installing the logging service/database after Qlik Sense installation like you advised, but I wanted an insight first.

Still, thanks for the answer.
