Qliksense desktop installation failed

Please help...I am trying to install the free desktop version and it is failing. I am on Windows 8, 64 bit

I had exactly the same yesterday, but just ran the setup again and it installed fine. Worth a try?

I have attached the log if anyone can make sense of it. I'd appreciate your assistance...I have tried installation twice already, getting same error.

These instructions held to install the app.

Hi,

i solved the Problem by temporary Change one registry entry.

1. Open regedit

2. Seach for HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User

Shell Folders

3. Change the path in "Personal" entry to a local path, but remember the

old path!

4. Now you can install qlikview without an error.

5. Change the path in "Personal" to your old.

I had the same problem and all I did in the end was open the downloaded file folder and run the qliksense file as administrator. This then installed it perfectly. I had tried six or seven times and was so annoyed that it was such an easy fix!
