Remote reload of an app on QlikSense server

Hi all,

We are using QlikSense server and would like to be able to remotely trigger the reload of an app, for example on the completion of our data warehouse process on SQL Server.

In QlikView we used the EDX function to initiate a reload. Replicating something like this would ideal.

I know it's possible to use the API however I'm at a loss on how to remotely trigger a POST command to the server and keep coming up with issues with this.

Any advice on the simplest way to remotely trigger a reload would be appreciated.
