I managing a Qlik Sense server for a customer where all their tokens have been allocated. My customer wants to add one more user and have therefore brought a new license key to provide the extra token. However, when I type in the new license key and control numer in the QMC, it looks like the new license will replace the old license and that there will only be ONE token available.
Does anyone know whether the new license key (with only one token) will overrule the old one and de-allocate the tokens allocated to my current users, or will the activation of this new license be an addition to the current license?
Hello Marc, if the new token is on a separate license key then yes, it will replace the old key. It should have been purchased as an additional token on the old license key. This can be fixed by our licensing team! If you know the customer's Qlik account manager you can reach out to them, or you can contact my team here and we can assist!
I'm so sorry you didn't get through to someone. America's Qoncierge support is available 8-5 Eastern time. That said, you should have gotten through to someone on the support team and I do apologize for that. You can also use that contact link provided to submit a contact form for assistance anytime.
