Run a Qlik Sense server task externally

How can we start a Qlik Sense Server task externally?

He is the scenario:
We use Microsoft SSIS to update our SQL data warehouse. When data warehouse is updated we would like to start a task on our Qlik Sense server.

Today our tasks are scheduled independent that the data warehouse is updated. This is not best practice nor efficient.

Let’s assume we have the following setup:
Qlik Sense Servername: QlikSenseServer
Task to start “QlikSenseTask”

What options do we have to do this?

We would be very glad, if you could post an example.

Code example is very welcome.

That could be a way, even if it starts an app and not a task.

But then i have two issues to solve

1) How do i know that reload was succesfully?
2) It only works on app that are not published. How do i change this?

I am afraid i haven't looked too far into the APIs, so I am not sure of the triggers associated with each call.

Hi Henrik.

I would like to know if running a batch file of the qlikSensetask externally works for you?

As i am having error throwing at me telling me it can't find the task name.

Best wishes.
