Start Qlik Sense Deskstop -> Hub with white screen

Hello,

After installing, I have a problem opening QLIK Sense Desktop : Hub with white screen.

Nowing I'm on Windows 7 64 bit, I have 8GB RAM, I have .Net Framework v4.5.2 installed and I have Internet Explorer v11 for browser.

I use Qlik Sense Desktop v3.0 SR1.

Do you have a solution ?

Thank in advance.

Resolution

Try below steps:
  1. Locate the Qlik Sense Desktop installation, default under C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Local\Programs\Qlik\Sense
  2. In that folder, open the file "services.conf" in notepad for editing
  3. In the top of the conf file should see a section [globals] where it says LogPath="${HOMEDRIVE}${HOMEPATH}\Documents\Qlik\Sense\Log"
  4. Change the LogPath to the actual log directory, as default: "C:\Users\user_name\Documents\QlikSense\Log"
  5. Restart your Qlik Sense Desktop

Close the browser and try again. If it doesn't work, don't close the browser yet and start another browser like Firefox or Chrome. Then open the url http://localhost:4848/hub with that other browser. If that still only gives a white screen try uninstalling and reinstalling Qlik Sense.

Thanks , but your solution is not working, and it makes me a mistake to firewall or to proxy.

I don't use proxy and I have not changed anything in the default to my firewall... and for information other installations Qlik Sense v3.0 SR1 on other PC with similar configuration works without problems.

Have you an other solution ?

Thanks in advance

Thanks , but your solution is not working.

I have reinstalled several times Qlik and Framework 4.5.2, rebooted the PC after each step, clean the registry et file Temp, rename the folder QLIK, but I still have the same problem.

But on this PC, with GOOGLE CHROME, I have this problem as mentioned previously :

Hi,

I do have the exact same problem, forbidding me to use a 3.X version of Sense. Running on Chrome, Windows 10.

Prevous versions worked perfectly (I downgraded in the meantime).

Cheers,

Nicolas

Mine is a physical machine. Tried to reach the Hub with private IP without any success. Also tried a different connection without success.
