Unable to restore backup with QlikSenseUtil

Hi Everyone,

I'm unable to restore backup with QlikSenseUtil.

If Qlik Sense is installed, the result is:

Error: Failed to delete system directory ProgramData\Qlik recursively. The uninstaller may have failed. Check uninstaller log files for further information

Exception in thread main, msg=The directory is not empty.

, code=-2147024751

If Qlik Sense is not installed, the result is:

Exception in thread main, msg=Unable to obtain product base installation directory, see log file for further information, code=-2146232800

The command to restore:

QlikSenseUtil.exe -restore -installLocalDb=false -databaseHostname=localhost -databasePassword={dbpass} -path=D:\backup\.23.03.2020-15.15.40-Z.backup -rootPath=D:\storage -installer=D:\Distr -u={domain\user} -p={userpass}

Hello Artem,

I would try to specify the switch "installdir" since it is registering "msg=Unable to obtain product base installation directory".
