how to create a SSL cert and apply to qlikview server?

while a QlikView question, I can answer here, but I do have a question.  Are you using IIS or QlikView Webserver?  If you are using IIS you can create a self-signed certificate from within IIS by going to the IIS Manager, clicking on the server icon in the manager, and choosing Server Certificates.  From here you can create a self-signed cert and leverage it with QlikView through IIS.

If you are using QlikView webserver, you will need to use a tool like OpenSSL to create your cert (OpenSSL: OpenSSL Binary Distributions) and then netsh from a command prompt to install the cert.
