Populate the Master Library by script?

In Qlikview there is the ability to add comments and Tags to fields to mark them as dimensions or measures and add useful context with comments that appear in the selection dialog as well as the mouse over in certain objects, and control the sort order so that more relevant fields show up first. ( all from the load script) 

I have noticed that the comment and tag option are present in qlik sense scripts but their usefulness seems lost...  did i miss something?  Do you still need to manually tag an item as a dimension/measure in the UI (by design of the sense developers) for it to become a dimension or measure in the master library?

The Master Item Library needs to be built manually … BUT … using the Architeqt extension you can build “blueprints” of the dimensions and measures and share them across applications.
