QMC Utilities is not working after successful installation

I had  successfully installed QMC Utilities on my Qlik Sense Server Nov 2018.  Everything worked well but now I am not able to launch the site.  I just get this on the servername:9945/qmcu/home/   site.  Am I missing something?  Nothing changed as we had already performed the Nov 2018 upgrade.

Following things you can try

  1. Enable Java script on the targeted server
  2. access the server on the link https://<servername>/qmc (for e.g. https://qliksense/qmc or https://<server-IP>/qmc (for e.g. https://192.168.1.1/qmc
  3. make sure all services are running

Please mark correct if issue resolved.

Did you use

https://servername:9945/qmcu as documented here:

I tried a fresh install and it worked for me.

could you attach the logs from those two folders, so we could see where it might fail for you.

C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\EAPowerTools\QMCUtilities\log
C:\Program Files\Qlik\Sense\EAPowerTools\PowerToolsServiceDispatcher\Log

Hi Leonardo,

We are also receiving the same error. Can you please suggest the solution if you resolved the issue when it occurred.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

the github page explains that you first connect to localhost not the servername on port 9945

https://github.com/eapowertools-archive/QlikSenseQMCUtility/wiki/QMC-Utilities-Installation-Instruct...

Did you try to run "netstat -aon | findstr 9945" on the system and see which process is allocated to this port?

kind regards

Sebastian

Hi Sebastian, Thanks for the reply. I tried to connect localhost in the server which is throwing the attached error.

Hello @raju_salmon  please run that "netstat -aon | findstr 9945", in a cmd promt,so we see if the program started mapping the port.

If no program is running at this port 9945 you get a empty response.

Sebastian
