Just an idea to make life a little easier...

If I add for example Total Sales (Sum([Sales]) into the Master Items library it would also be good to set the default number format, e.g. Money (no decimals!!)

Agree. And a checkbox to "use format from master item" when using the item in a visualization would complement this nicely!

Agree it seems silly to have to reformat every single time a common measure is used!
