Option to delete deriving calendar in data manager

Hello,

When I import file or Qvd with the data manager, Qlik Sense generate calendar with deriving fields.

This calendars are calculated and they are not efficient when I work with a lot of data (like 100million lines)

If I don't want to use this calendar, I must modify the locked script, so the data manager is not available.

Beside, sometimes fields that are not dates are recognized as dates !

Can you add an option in the data manager to delete the date type (like what is done for geographic areas) ?

Thank you !

Hi,

This feature is very important for us. We use a scripted data load, with a conventional master calendar (as has been the recommended practise for some time now).

We would like end users to be able to extend the data model by using the data manager, but the Auto-Calendar cripples the whole process and sycnhing the scripts takes over an hour.

Still hoping this will be implemented soon. When our end users create a simple app with a few dates such as Orderdate and Date of Birth, it quickly becomes confusing with all those calendars.
