User access based on field value (client)

Hi,

I am wondering if this is possible in Qlik Sense cloud. Here's the scenario:

  • All source records are related to specific clients based on a 'client' field.
  • Dashboard app pages have a 'client' filter allowing the dashboard to use all records or just a specific client. Internally, this works well.
  • The dashboard is also used as our reporting tool to our clients. Currently, PDFs are generated of each dashboard page, and then emailed to clients; but we like the idea of providing clients with access to the dashboard only containing their respective records...
  • Can user access be restricted to a specific 'client' field value? Or perhaps another approach to get to the same result?

Any guidance or insight is greatly appreciate.

Hi Jon,

You may need to apply section access in your dashboard.
