Dear all,

May someone tell me please how can I include ALternate state feature to my Qlik sense February 2018 ?

Is it a free feature? Otherwise how much does it cost?

Thank you in advance.

Not sur if it is included in that version. If not just upgrade the server to get it. Its free. (excluding normal server costs)

Thank you again for your reply.

I would like to know which Qlik sense server (at least) do I need to have to have the alternate state?

Currently, I have the February 2018 Qlik sense server: 12.5.2 version.

I don't know. You can find this in the releasenotes of the versions. Start from feb 2019 and go backwards.

Ok I found that it is in November 2018.

Is it possible to add it without an upgrade to our current version (Feb 2018)?

Alternate States i a part of the QIX engine and has been possible to use in Qlik Sense for a long time, in November 2018 Qlik added a user interface for it .

Before Nov 2018 you can utilize Alternate States through the Qlik Sense APIs by your own or through pre made extensions found. I know there uses to be a couple extensions available through Qlik Branch / GitHub. This is one of them: https://github.com/ChristofSchwarz/QSExtension_SetObjectState

PS: you only need to keep the QSExtension object in the application during development/adjustments. You can leave them out in the published document.
