Is it possible to get the right click menu when you embed a sheet or object in Qlik Sense? Or is there another way to export the data when an object is embedded?
I have a sheet with a chart and a table that I want to add in Salesforce. The embed works just fine but using a /single/ I no longer get the right click menu which allows me to export the data from the table.
I am also looking for the ability to do this. Did you ever figure out if you can enable right-click export for sheets accessed by the single integration?
I think I will probably open a help ticket on this issue.
Hi Chris,
Do you have good news about the issue? Please tell me your idea:)
Unfortunately, the only idea I have at the moment is to use the App integration:
Instead of the single integration:
I'll reply if I hear back from Qlik on this issue.
I have no idea about this. I try to contact my supplier but no useful answer. If your help ticket works, pls tell me your solution.
Thanks.
The right click context menu is only available inside of the client. Makes no sense for us to hijack the right click menu on other pages such as salesforce.
However you could easily build a small page similar to Single that has a small export button you could click to initiate a export.
You could easily add the context menu only when you mouse over the Qlik iframe. This even works if you aren't using iframes:

Or, you could expose the functionality via some other mechanism, like a hamburger or gear icon button that appears on hover.
Both options could easily made optional so that it doesn't change current behavior.

Well, if it's easy, do you have an example of this working for a whole sheet? What if there are four tables on a sheet and you want to let the users export from each one individually? Suddenly this doesn't sound so easy.
As user, it's surprising to have the single integration look and feel nearly identical to what's in the hub, but behave differently. Why wouldn't you want a consistent experience?
