Hey Community,
I have just created a table extension to design and format my table.
I want to format the columns.
Example: Set the number format of a column to 10,50, I also want to be able to change the format later on. For example to 10,5.
I want to be flexible in the formatting and able to change it later on.
It would be great if I could do this with multiple columns, so i dont have to change them all column by column.
How can i do this within my Extension? Or is there an other possible way?
Thanks for the help!
Hi Florian,
Qlik Sense has built-in upport for formatting numbers. You find the formats and format masks in the property panel. When you render your table make sure to use the qText value, which is the formatted one.
As far as I know ther is no builtin solution for changing format for multiple columns at the same time.
Hope this helps
Erik
Thank you Erik for the answer!
is there any way to implement a function in my extension, with wich i can change the format of multiple columns?
