Qlik sense-Salesforce mashup.

We are using single configurator to embed Qlik visualizations in Salesforce and we want the visualization to be filtered based on the parameters selected in Salesforce. For example, if we have a Qlik chart that has aggregated data and the data in salesforce is at account level we want the chart to be for that particular account. How do we pass parameters in Salesforce?

We have the exact same question.  We want to embed Qlik Sense graphs & tables into the Contact page, and automatically filter based on the specific Contact that's been selected in Salesforce.

I'm hoping someone will reply back soon with an answer!

Thanks,

Steve

Yes, I think we've figured out how to do it - theoretically, at least.  We haven't had time to actually try it out.  Our Salesforce Admin looked at the following three videos and he thinks it should work:

Part 1 shows the basic SAML configuration:

Part 2 shows how to create VisualForce pages:

Part 3 shows the parameter piece:

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the Reply, Yes i too felt they would be useful, this wont explain about making the QS server exposing to the Internet and the passage of security paramaters.

The Part 3 parameter passage i didnt feel it as giving more inputs so wanted any of your thougths on this.

Also wanted to know if we can follow the Header authentication here and any suggested ways for it or not.

Thanks & Regards,

Santosh Kumar.
